TV Times top picks for tonight

What’s on telly tonight? Here the TV Times team of expert reviewers highlight the best shows on Saturday 3rd February

Casualty, 8.20pm, BBC1

Prepare to get on your soapbox, tonight’s Casualty is all about the crisis in the NHS. The ED is overflowing with patients – some are stuck in parked ambulances, some are in the corridors – and new clinical lead Ethan is doing his best to manage the situation. But with patients in dire need of proper care, Alicia is seething. Meanwhile, Charlie and Duffy celebrate their first wedding anniversary and newbie Bea gets in trouble on her first day. Rating: ****

All Together Now, 7.15pm, BBC1

All Together Now

After last Saturday’s opener, we’re keen to see which of this week’s singers will get The 100 joining in. And what a bunch they are! We’re particularly loving drag queen Divina De Campo and grumpy Paulus. Once again, Rob Beckett and Geri Horner oversee the performances, which this week include the Frank Sinatra classic That’s Life and How Far I’ll Go from Moana. But who will be the next two acts to make it to the Grand Final? Rating: *****

Hard Sun, 9.30pm, BBC1

After slashing himself and his mother with a razor blade, Renko’s troubled son Daniel was transferred to a non-secure hospital. Bad mistake. Daniel then goes after the teacher who raped his mother – and is his biological father – armed with an ice pick. Can Renko somehow keep her son safe? Or will she unwittingly lead her treacherous partner Hicks to Daniel and the flash drive? Rating: ****

More previews tomorrow.
