"I’ve spent 30 years on the telly trying to act normal, when really I’m anything but", says Chris Packham, who was diagnosed with Asperger’s at the age of 44. Now, in this incredibly candid documentary, which sees him travel to the US to investigate controversial "cures" for autism, he talks openly about his condition. From the early years when Chris realised he was not the same as his peers, to the struggles of trying to manage his condition on live TV and times when he contemplated suicide, nothing is off limits. A compelling insight into a condition that affects over 250 million people worldwide, with a positive and important message. Rating: *****

Ben begins his latest series in Australia, on a little island off the northwestern cape aptly named Wilderness Island. After a terrible accident, Australian Jim realised that life was too short to take anything for granted and he needed to fulfill his dream of living in the wild. He moved to the island and has carved out a tough but beautiful life for himself ever since. Together with his girlfriend Kim, Jim built an eco-resort, where nature-lovers can come to share their little bit of paradise. Ben tries out the fine art of mud crabbing, which is basically catching delicious but vicious crabs without losing a finger. Rating: ***
