TRAGEDY in tonight’s Coronation Street as a devastating double blow is delivered
Life is about to get even worse for an already devastated Daniel Osbourne in Coronation Street...
Tonight's Coronation Street sees Weatherfield residents gathering to say their final goodbyes to Sinead Tinker, who lost her battle against cancer last month.
But just when her husband Daniel thinks that life can't get any worse, yet another tragic turn of events leaves him hitting rock bottom this evening (7.30pm, see our TV guide for full listings).
After escaping Coronation Street shortly after Sinead's untimely death, Daniel returns tonight just in time for her funeral.
The service goes well and everyone gathers afterwards at the Rovers for the wake... but it's all too much for widow Daniel and he tells Peter that he's going to head home and watch the videos that Sinead made for him and Bertie before she died.

However, what he doesn't realise is, as he was saying his final goodbyes to his late wife, Daniel's flat was being robbed by a mysterious intruder.

Daniel gets home to find the flat has been trashed, and he calls Peter to come and help him as he hits rock bottom.
But that's not the end of the tragedy for Daniel. Peter sends him over to Ken's with Carla while he calls the police at Daniel's flat, but while he is there he realises the thief has stolen Daniel's laptop containing all the videos from Sinead.
Later this week Daniel is set to go on a downward spiral after discovering that his precious last words from Sinead have been so thoughtlessly taken from him, and he heads off to find the laptop himself.
Believing it could have been taken to a pawn shop, Daniel scours the high street and finds one that looks just like his in a glass cabinet in a shop.
But after he yells at the shop keeper about handling stolen goods, he grabs a golf club and smashes the glass cabinet to get the computer out.
Craig is called to help and he tries to persuade the shop keeper to drop the charges as Daniel is arrested by the police.
But is this just the start of a tragic new path for Daniel? Or will his friends and family manage to help him in his time of need?
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
