TV TIMES ON LOCATION Kris Marshall (VIDEO)
Here's a very special on location message from Death in Paradise star Kris Marshall!
TV Times was lucky enough to fly out to Guadeloupe, where the BBC1 hit is filmed, to chat to Kris about the upcoming fifth series, to be shown early next year.
And, with the sun beating down and luxury yachts gently rocking on the Caribbean Sea behind him, lucky Kris joked that he was working at the 'coal face' of the TV industry.
Meanwhile back in the Blighty, it's been revealed that Keith Allen and Jill Halfpenny will both be joining Kris for series five.
Former EastEnders star Jill says: "It was such a treat to dip into the world of Death in Paradise. One of the great joys of my job is being able to film with such strong talent and in such gorgeous locations - this year has taken me to Chichester, Guadeloupe and I will end it in Leeds! You can't ask for more variation than that!"
Other guest stars lined up for series five include Paul Nicholls (EastEnders), Sally Bretton (Not Going Out), Emma Rigby (Hollyoaks), Heida Reed (Poldark) and Julian Ovenden (Downton Abbey).
When the fourth series opened earlier this year nearly seven million viewers tuned in and audiences have held steady since Kris took over from Ben as the leading man.

"It's hard work," laughed Kris, who of course is loving having possibly the greatest acting job currently on the box. Our full on location report and interview will be in TV Times when Death in Paradise returns in January.
