Best TV shows on TV tonight
The Power of Parker, 9:30 pm, BBC One
One of the joys of this series is the sense that everyone involved clearly had fun making it – perhaps none more so than Rosie Cavaliero, who tonight steals the show, as Diane and Martin (Conleth Hill) attend a Rotary Club dinner and Diane has a bit too much to drink. Meanwhile, Kath (Sian Gibson) attempts an audacious heist at Parker’s Electricals.

Susan Calman's Summer By The Sea, 8 pm, Channel 5
You don’t want to be watching this hungry as Susan’s final summertime stay involves lots of tuck: fish and chips from the world’s largest chippy; cider from the ‘smallest pub on the planet’; doughnuts and ice cream on the promenade; and, curiously, Melba toast – the signature snack of Cleethorpes’ 1920s Kingsway Hotel, where Susan’s checked in.
