Good Omens season 2, Prime Video

Turmoil is brewing in Heaven and Hell again in the second run of Neil Gaiman’s fantasy. Finicky angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and louche demon Crowley (David Tennant) may have helped to prevent Armageddon, but they now face another epic challenge when an amnesiac Archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) warns of approaching danger.

As Aziraphale and Crowley try to learn more and keep Gabriel’s presence a secret, they come under unwanted scrutiny… Liz Carr and Peter Davison are among those joining the cast, and look out for returning stars Miranda Richardson and Nina Sosanya in new roles.

The Power of Parker, 9:30 pm, BBC One

Undoing Martin Parker first look! Diane (Rosie Cavaliero), Martin Parker (Conleth Hill) and Kath (Sian Gibson).

Get ready for big hair, big problems and big laughs in this new sitcom from co-writers Paul Coleman and Sian Gibson (Peter Kay’s Car Share). Game of Thrones’ Conleth Hill stars as Martin Parker, a self-made man with a chain of electrical shops around the Stockport area in the early 1990s.

Martin pictures himself as the model of success, but his dodgy financial dealings have left him mired in debt - which means he can no longer afford the flat that his girlfriend Kath (Gibson) lives in. But what he really can’t afford is for his oblivious, status-conscious wife Diane (Rosie Cavaliero) to find out about any of this…

Susan Calman's Summer by the Sea, 8 pm, Channel 5

Susan Calman's Summer By the Sea shows off the best of British resorts.

The Scottish comedian is off on her seaside jaunts again, taking celebrity pals such as Les Dennis and Sally Lindsay along for the ride. First, she’s in Clacton-on-Sea with fellow comedian Nina Wadia, and the duo try driving water dodgems on the pier, which ends up with Susan soaking unsuspecting holidaymakers!

Susan also overcomes her fear of heights by going on Clacton’s Ferris wheel, before taking to the stage to become a magician’s assistant and getting herself in a sticky situation while making candy floss! A cracking start to the series.

Not Going Out season 13, 9 pm, BBC One

Lee Mack in Not Going Out season 13

Lee can hear a beep. Is it the battery failing on the smoke or carbon monoxide alarm? The phone? The microwave? It’s infuriating. The thing is: Lucy can’t hear it… From here, a strange evening takes shape, during which Lee and Lucy’s relationship goes under the microscope and Lee Mack and Sally Bretton show that an old- fashioned two-handed episode can be very satisfying indeed.

The Bear season 2Disney Plus

Jeremy Allen White as Carmy in The Bear season 2

Jeremy Allen White won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of troubled yet brilliant chef Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto last year, and Disney Plus are serving up a second serving of the acclaimed drama. After saving their off-beat Chicago sandwich shop following his brother’s suicide, Carmy and his team are hoping to revamp and relaunch the restaurant this year, but soon find true excellence requires real sacrifice.

Overflowing with stress-inducing drama, mouth-watering food, and some deeply tender moments, it’s a wonderfully shot examination of grief, friendship and hope that shows the first season was no flash in the pan.
