Our Dementia Choir Sings Again With Vicky McClure, 9 pm (times vary), BBC One
Four years ago, Line of Duty actor Vicky McClure set up a choir to help people with dementia. Now, she’s catching up with some of the original members and showing how the restorative power of music has helped them, and the choir is releasing a single to reflect the experiences of many of its members. It’s an emotional watch as family after family tells their devastating dementia stories, but it’s also joyful as Vicky and choirmaster Mark De-Lisser are more determined than ever to make a difference and raise crucial funds and awareness to fight this cruel disease.

Wolf Hall, BBC iPlayer (box set)
As the literary world mourns the passing of two-time Booker Prize-winner Hilary Mantel, the BBC celebrates her legacy by making available the six-part BAFTA-winning adaptation of her masterpiece Wolf Hall (which also combines book two of her Thomas Cromwell trilogy, Bring Up the Bodies). The rise and fall of Henry VIII’s adviser in the unforgiving Tudor court is captured magnificently by a dream cast – Mark Rylance is Cromwell, Damian Lewis the fickle king and Claire Foy Anne Boleyn – amid stunning filming locations including Lacock Abbey as Wolf Hall. Also available is Hilary Mantel: Return to Wolf Hall, in which the author draws parallels between her life and stories.

Best film to watch on TV tonight
The Lodge, 8 pm, Sky Cinema Premiere
This classy chiller follows the unwinding of a young woman (supremely well-played by Riley Keough, Elvis Presley’s granddaughter) with a fragile grasp of her mental state after escaping a cult. When she and her new family travel to a cabin in the wilderness for Christmas, Keough is left to care for her partner’s kids (Jaeden Martell and Lia McHugh) alone. The children dislike Keough, but are they to blame for the truly sinister happenings around the frosty house? Elegant, engrossing and unsettling.
