Falklands War: The Forgotten Battle, 9pm, ITV
On 1 April 1982, a small garrison of British Armed Forces stationed on the Falklands Islands received a fax advising them the Argentinians would be launching an amphibious invasion the next morning and they should ‘make their dispositions accordingly’. In this documentary marking the 40th anniversary of the conflict, Ben Fogle tells the remarkable story of the 70 men who formed the first line of defence against nearly 3,000 enemy soldiers. They were inevitably overwhelmed, but despite their bravery, they returned home to discover their reputation had been dragged through the mud by the tabloids.

A League of Their Own Road Trip: Dingle to Dover, 9pm, Sky Max/NOW
Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff set off on another epic adventure as they drive from Dingle in Ireland to the White Cliffs of Dover. In Ireland, the pair join Romesh Ranganathan and former footballer Patrice Evra to try sheep herding and take part in the National Ploughing Championships. Then it’s time for them to join a live performance of iconic show Riverdance. It’s fair to say none of them will make Michael Flatley worry for his future, but there has to be a winner because the loser of the most challenges faces dangling from a helicopter on a bungee rope!

Gordon Ramsay's Future Food Stars, 9pm, BBC One
"Trust me, I’ve filleted these things so many times I can almost do it with my eyes closed. In fact, I’m going to," says Gordon dramatically as he demonstrates how to fillet a salmon while blindfolded. After attempting to fillet their own fishes – thankfully, with their eyes open – the remaining 11 contestants cook a feast in a forest for 12 paying guests. The problem, however, is not the food (although that isn’t great), but one another. One team has a spectacular falling-out, with a few of the furious foodies slinging so many insults that they make Gordon look positively serene.

Nikki Grahame: Who Is She? 9pm, C4
In 2006, Nikki Grahame was propelled to fame as a housemate on Big Brother and won an army of fans. Sadly, her life was blighted by a constant battle with anorexia and she died in April last year. In this moving and at times upsetting film, Nikki’s mum Sue, close friends and former colleagues, including Dermot O’Leary, pay tribute, celebrate her life and address the struggles that haunted her.

Secrets of the Museum, 8pm, BBC Two
Full of fascinating stories, this gentle series returns for another look behind the scenes at the V&A. Museum curator Annemarie pulls together a new exhibition dedicated to Beatrix Potter, while theatre curator Simon digs out a prop that once belonged to Tommy Cooper. ‘Just like that,’ he can’t resist saying as he finds a trick pot plant for a new Blackpool museum.

Hacks, season 1, Prime Video
If you like The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, you shouldn’t miss this new series starring Mare of Easttown’s Jean Smart as a Joan Rivers-style comedian, Deborah Vance. After the veteran stand-up finds her career on the slide when her Las Vegas residency comes under threat, her manager teams her with reluctant young comedy writer Ava (Hannah Einbinder) who’s just been cancelled after a tasteless tweet went viral. Originally on HBO Max in the US it’s already been renewed for a second season and won three Emmys, including outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for Jean Smart.

Like a Boss, 9pm, Film4
Tiffany Haddish and Rose Byrne find their friendship and business partnership at risk after Salma Hayek's predatory tycoon takes an interest in their fledgling cosmetics company. This old-school workplace comedy tries a little too hard to be up to date as a celebration of female empowerment and sisterhood, but the stars still ensure there's fun to be had.
