Barney & Bradley Walsh: Breaking Dad, 9 pm, ITV1
Father and son Bradley and Barney Walsh are back on the road, and this time they’re in Latin America, travelling from Mexico to Panama. It kicks off with a double bill, and on the agenda is a hot-air balloon ride and an excursion to a haunted island populated by creepy dolls, neither of which enthuse Walsh Snr. But his excitement levels soon rise when they enter the world of lucha libre as they have fun grappling with stars of Mexican freestyle wrestling. It’s a different story, though, when Bradley’s challenged to climb a sheer rock face by following a precarious path of footholes, ladders and bridges. Could this be the one that finally breaks Dad? ★★★★ MD
Waterloo Road, 8 pm, BBC One, iPlayer (box set)
As Waterloo Road reels from some shock news, the school’s joint deputy heads, Joe (James Baxter) and Lindon (Vincent Jerome), are tasked with keeping the students under control – but the pair clash when teenagers Dean (Francesco Piacentini-Smith) and Danny (Adam Abbou) are found with drugs. While Lindon wants to call the police, Joe thinks troubled Danny, who’s been given a second chance at school, should be cut some slack… With high drama and lots of teen angst, this is shaping up to be a great series and diehard fans should stay tuned as this episode boasts a blast from the past.
