She has been making headlines for decades, but how well do we really know Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall? Featuring interviews with the Duchess herself and those who are close to her, as well as glimpses of her out and about on royal duties with husband Prince Charles, this revealing one-off documentary follows the future Queen Consort while she guest edits Country Life magazine, to mark her own 75th birthday on July 17 and the publication’s 125th anniversary. As Camilla explains what the countryside means to her, she also highlights the causes she supports, including raising awareness of domestic abuse.

Ms. Marvel, season finale, Disney Plus

Iman Vellani in Ms. Marvel

All too soon it's the final episode of this throughly enjoyable series that's introduced us to a fresh new Marvel superhero. Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) had no idea she had superpowers until a bangle sent by her Nani from Pakistan turned her life upside down. Now she needs to harness all of her new-found abilities to defend the world from the Clandestines, a sinister group from another dimension. While newcomer Iman and her young co-stars have been great, putting Kamala's Muslim and Pakistani family and heritage front and centre has made this series stand out in the crowded superhero genre. The legacy of the trauma caused by the Partition of India in 1947 runs deep throughout the series, adding a whole new layer of historical relevance and emotional impact that elevates this show to a place many superheroes can only dream of.

CSI: Vegas, 9pm, Alibi

TV tonight Maxine and Sara face an imminent threat

A brilliant new team of investigators, led by Maxine Roby (Paula Newsome) faces a crisis when an existential threat could see thousands of convicted killers released back on to the streets of Las Vegas. Maxine must enlist the help of old friends Gil Grissom (William Peterson), Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) and David Hodges (Wallace Langham), to help her deploy the latest forensic techniques to preserve justice in the city. As the new 10-part series begins, an attack on Jim Brass (Paul Guilfoyle) kicks off a twisted conspiracy targeting the Las Vegas crime lab.

Breeders, season 3, 10pm & 10.30pm, Sky Comedy

TV tonight Ally and Paul with Ava and Luke.

Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard had us laughing and crying in equal measure as stressed parents Paul and Ally in this heartfelt comedy and it continues to develop in interesting ways as it returns to our screens. After being punched by his 13 year-old son Luke at the end of series two, Paul has moved out to give the teen some space as we rejoin the story tonight. The father-of-two is determined to address his rage issues, yet also makes a new friend when he bumps into new neighbour, Gabby (Sally Phillips). Let’s hope Ally doesn’t find out!

Sneakerhead, 10pm, Dave

TV tonight Hugo Chegwin as Russell.

Hugo Chegwin excelled as a devoted sidekick DJ Beats in the BAFTA-winning comedy People Just Do Nothing, but he’s the leader of his own gang in this new three-part series about the world of retail. It’s been over a decade since trainer-obsessed Russell started working at Sports Depot and through luck rather than merit, he’s now store manager. Yet controlling the reprobates under his charge is no easy feat. It’s full of warm-hearted silliness, and look out for Big Zuu in his first acting role.

★★★★ SMA

The Real Mo Farah, 9pm, BBC One

One of the stars of the 2012 Olympics was undoubtedly Mo Farah, who won gold in the 5,000 and 10,000m. He went on to retain those at the 2016 Olympics, making him the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympics history. He’s a household name, but this film tells the story we don’t know: the truth about his childhood and his journey to the UK from Somaliland.

D.B. Cooper: Where Are You? Netflix

The compelling true story of skyjacker D.B. Cooper, who in 1971, parachutes off a plane in America with a bag of stolen cash — and gets away with it. What happened to him and who he really was has remained a mystery ever since, although plenty of citizen sleuths claim to know the truth. This limited series explores the many theories surrounding this fascinating and bizarre case and sheds new light on the mystery that has puzzled investigators for over four decades.

Best box set to watch on TV tonight

The Baby, Sky Box Sets/NOW

TV tonight Natasha finds herself landed with a baby.

When is motherhood not a joy? When your baby is a murdering monster! In this clever comedy-horror The Duchess’s Michelle de Swarte stars as proudly non-maternal Natasha. The gobby chef rents a creepy cabin near a cliff from mysterious chain-smoking Mrs Eaves (Amira Ghazalla), only to find herself landed with a baby – literally – when one plummets into her arms (it’s a boy!). But this isn’t any baby; this is The Baby, an unnatural born killer who’s chosen Natasha as his new mum. And any attempts to offload the problem child results in murder and mayhem. A welcome new addition to the genre.

Best film to watch on TV tonight

Lucy in the Sky, 9pm, Film4

Astronaut Natalie Portman comes back from space and has a full-blown existential crisis. Portman's Lucy Cola is a Type-A high achiever who has won a coveted spot on the Space Shuttle Discovery. Yet after the transcendent rapture of a spacewalk, everything about her life back on Earth with her decent but dull husband (a deliberately muted Dan Stevens) now looks small. Seeking a new thrill, she embarks on an affair with fellow astronaut Mark (a swaggering Jon Hamm), but the fling only sends her closer to the edge. With her character modelled on real astronaut Lisa Nowak, Portman is typically excellent as a woman on the verge of a breakdown.
