Casualty, 8.40pm, BBC1

Warning: tonight’s episode will make you want to scream at the TV. Everyone’s burying their heads in the sand and it’s not going to end well – from Dylan refusing to listen to David’s worries about Sanosi, to Connie dismissing her doctor’s advice and Lily pretending to be relaxed about Sam’s relentless flirting with Iain. It’s Dylan in the most immediate danger this week, though, as Sanosi is once again brought into the ED. Rating: ****

Britain’s Ancient Tracks, 7.00pm, C4

After Offa’s Dyke last week, Tony Robinson moves on to the Peak District, where the Derbyshire Portway awaits. The craggy Portway runs from the north of the county down to the edge of Nottingham and is presumed to be prehistoric. But what, so far from the sea and so high up, is a shark’s tooth doing buried here? Just one of the riddles that Tony is hoping to solve. Rating: ****

Dare to Dream, 4.25pm, BBC1

In 2016, for the first time since 1958, Wales qualified for the Euros. The man who took them there was manager Chris Coleman. A fine player whose career ended abruptly after a car crash, Coleman got the Wales job when old friend and previous manager Gary Speed took his own life. This documentary, previously shown on BBC1 Wales, explores the tragic backdrop to an inspiring story. Rating: ****
