Voice winner Leanne Mitchell not in touch with Tom
The Voice UK's first winner Leanne Mitchell has admitted she has not spoken to her coach Tom Jones for six months.
The 29-year-old singer - who was coached to the series title by Tom in 2012 - told the Sunday People that she did not even know if he had heard her debut album, which was released this week.
"Last time I spoke to him was in November and he wanted to know what I’m up to," Leanne revealed. "He hasn’t called since – he's been in America for most of the year.
“But I’d love to know what he thinks of the album and if he approves.”
The singer's post-Voice career has proven disappointing, with her debut single Run To You - a cover of the Whitney Houston song which she performed in the 2012 final - peaking at number 45.
Meanwhile her self-titled debut album is expected to miss the top 100 when the charts are announced on Sunday.
Tom has previously said that he blames Leanne's record company Universal Music for her failure to achieve chart stardom, saying they 'rushed' into releasing her music.

He added: "If someone wins The Voice it's out of my hands completely because they've signed to Universal with management, agency, the whole thing. If I want to do more with someone, it's better they don't win."
Leanne has since attempted to move on from her Voice victory and is focusing on her album.
She said of her win: “I found it very strange at the beginning because it happens overnight. It’s weird that people might want to speak to you and have their picture taken with you.
And she dismissed recent reports that she had been reduced to performing at birthday parties in recent months following her flop single.
“I’ve had an amazing year and worked with some amazing people and will happily be judged on my album," she said.
The Voice continues on Sunday evening with the remaining finalists being chosen for this year's live heats.
