If you missed The Voice last night, there's one performance you have to see…
In the semi-finals of The Voice this week, the contestants had to sing one song on their own and then perform with their coach and team-mates. Of all the collaborations it was Team Will who provided the most entertainment by getting down and funky with That's The Way I Like It by KC and the Sunshine Band, mashed up with the same band's song Get Down Tonight.
Last week, Will was the only coach to retain the three performers from his team who had made it to the quarter-final. He put Lucy O'Byrne straight through to the Saturday's semi-final with his 'Fast Pass', while the other two team-mates, Sheena McHugh and Vikesh Champaneri, were voted through to the next stage by viewers.
When it was revealed that the three artists from Team Will would be singing together and with their coach, we couldn't help wonder how the classical and operatic Lucy would fit in. So it was a pleasant surprised to see it all come together. And we wouldn't be surprised if there were a few viewers choked on their tea at the sight of Vikesh and Will in super-large Afro wigs!
