Who is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight, March 30?
The sketch show is back after its mini hiatus, but who is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight? Here's everything to know
Yes, after several weeks of reruns, Saturday Night Live season 49 is finally back with a brand-new live episode out of Studio 8H tonight, March 30? But who will be pulling hosting duties during this evening's festivities?
The sketch show went on its current hiatus beginning on Saturday, March 9, which saw the return of Dune: Part Two actor Josh Brolin as host for the third time and pop star Ariana Grande as the musical guest. There were no new episodes the past two Saturdays, but that all changes tonight with the March 30th edition, which will see the hosting debut of actor-comedian Ramy Youssef.
Youssef is known for his role as Ramy Hassan on the Hulu comedy series Ramy, for which the performer-writer won a Golden Globe Award for "Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy" and a Peabody Award in 2020. Along with his recent acclaimed film Poor Things, in which he starred opposite Oscar winner Emma Stone, Ramy also just released his second HBO comedy special, Ramy Youssef: More Feelings, which features the comic's musings on everything from the 2024 presidential election to the importance of prayer to the childhood book report that changed the course of his life.
The actor-comedian will be joined by rapper Travis Scott as musical guest. Scott, who previously featured on SNL in 2018, doesn't have a new record out—his fourth studio album, Utopia, dropped in July 2023—so it's not immediately clear what two tracks the rapper will be performing on the show tonight.

The Rami Youssef-hosted episode kicks off several consecutive weeks of brand-new episodes of the NBC series. On Saturday, April 6, former SNL cast member and Palm Royale star Kristen Wiig will return to 30 Rock to host the show for her fifth time, which means she will likely be receiving one of the coveted "Five Timers Club" jackets during her appearance. British singer-songwriter Raye will also be performing as musical guest.
And the week after that will see The Fall Guy star Ryan Gosling dropping by Studio 8H on Saturday, April 13 for his third time hosting, with a musical performance by country superstar Chris Stapleton. How do you think the funnyman will stack up with the rest of this season's hosts so far?
