Who won the 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray of Pi?
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED. The winners are Elaine Malcolm, George Worboys Wright and Jim Piper.
On 12 August, Lionsgate UK releases Pi: 15th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, one of the most original examples of cult classic independent American cinema and the birth of a great filmmaker.
In his stunning 1998 debut feature film, Oscar nominated director Darren Aronofsky tells the story of Maximillian Cohen’s (Sean Gullette) obsession with numbers and his theory that they hold the key to the answers of the universe. His work causes him agonising migraines and his former teacher Sol (Mark Margolis) advises him to take a break from trying to discover patterns in the stock market. When Max's super computer crashes after spitting out a 216-digit number, Max initially dismisses it, until the prediction comes true, and he realises that the number which he consigned to the trash could be the key he has been searching for.
To celebrate the Blu-ray release, which is packed with special features, we have three copies to give away. To be in the draw, all you need to do is answer the following question correctly by filling out the form below.
Q: The number Pi (π) is a mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference. What is it approximately equal to? • Zero • 3.14159 • The size of an average egg • The size of an average house
