Why ESPN+ is the best-kept secret of the Disney Bundle

If you’re a Disney+ customer, you may have considered subscribing to, or actually subscribed to the Disney Bundle. After all, it’s excellent value. You get both Disney+ and Hulu for only a few extra bucks per month.

But if that’s all you know about the bundle, you’re seriously missing out. That’s because it also comes with ESPN+, which is easily the most underrated part of the Disney Bundle.

ESPN+ is essentially a streaming service for sports junkies. There’s a ton of content that you might not know you’re missing on ESPN+. For starters, there’s the Oscar Pistorius 30 for 30 documentary, called The Life and Trials of Oscar Pistorius, a four-part docuseries that details the incredible story of the South African Paralympic sprinter. The series premiered on Sept. 27, so if you’re an ESPN+ subscriber, you can catch it any time you want.

There are other great offerings on ESPN+ too. Are you more of a fighting fan? ESPN+ is home to a world of UFC content, the exclusive place for live fights, plus replays, interviews, and Fight Island. Every week there’s new UFC-related content available straight from ESPN+, with almost all of the fights being streamable live on the platform. Who says that you can’t still get live content from streaming services?

Or, perhaps you’re more into soccer — in which case ESPN+ should be your go-to for Carabao Cup or EFL content. ESPN+ also has Major League Soccer games, and the service is home to the German Bundesliga and Italian Serie A, which means you can watch every match.

Even if you couldn’t get all those live matches, fights, and games, ESPN+ would still be worth paying for. That’s because of all the ESPN-produced content that you get on the service, including documentaries, interviews, historic matches, and so on.

With all this streamable content, you might assume that the Disney Bundle is expensive, but it’s really not. While Disney+ normally comes at $6.99 per month, the Disney Bundle — which includes Hulu and ESPN+ — comes in at only $12.99 a month. That’s only an extra $3 each for ESPN+ and Hulu. Talk about value.

If you're already an ESPN+ subscriber, you can upgrade to enjoy Hulu and Disney+ in the same way. From Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar content on actual Disney+, to content like The Simpsons and Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu, you’ll never run out of things to watch.

Like other streaming services, ESPN+ is available on all your devices. You can access it from your web browser, but it also works on iOS and Android, as well as Fire TV, Samsung TV, Chromecast, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Roku, and so on. Safe to say, you’ll never be in a situation where you can’t access the service.

You can get the Disney Bundle, including ESPN+, for yourself straight from the ESPN site. You won’t regret it.
