This weekend's proposed double elimination on The X Factor has now been cancelled.
Show bosses previously stated that this weekend, they would be kicking off four acts as opposed to the normal two.
Up until now, the live shows have seen two acts booted off of the programme each weekend. The live shows are now into their third week, meaning four contestants have already lost their place in the competition.
In week one, fan favourite Talia Dean left the show, alongside popular 25-year-old Spencer Sutherland. And just last weekend, Tracey Leanne Jefford and Leon Mallet were the next contestants to face the chop.
But X Factor bosses had planned for yet another shake-up in the show for this weekend.
At the start of the week, it was announced that there would be a quadruple elimination. The show was originally planning to kick off four hopeful contestants this weekend, in a bid to mix up the live shows.
However, it seems as though this format is about to change all over again, as show boss Simon Cowell has had a change of heart at the last minute.

According to the Metro, it's been revealed that the show has now cancelled the double elimination. This is said to be in order to give more time to the successful singing hopefuls.
A source told the publication, "We have some great talent on the show this year. Simon thinks it’s unfair to cut the numbers so drastically when contestants are doing so well."
Another source added, "Talent this year is exceptional and with less weeks of live shows producers want to give them more time to shine and more time for the audiences pick their favourites."
And the rollback to the normal format was finally confirmed in a statement made by ITV.
"This weekend’s show will feature one act leaving on Saturday and one act leaving on Sunday."
This week, the remaining hopefuls will be chanelling the late, great George Michael. They'll be singing hits from the superstar they attempt to sail through to the next round of the competition.
Matt Linnen will tackle the hit 'Careless Whisper'. And 20-year-old Grace Davies will share her rendition of 'I Can't Make You Love Me'
Sean and Conor Price will also be singing the catchy tune, 'Freedom! '90', while Rak-Su will by trying their hand at 'Faith'.
