X Factor Niki: 'This is literally my last chance'
Niki Evans has admitted that getting into The X Factor final is her 'last chance' at having a music career, because she's older than the other acts. On Saturday, the 34-year-old mum-of-two will go head-to-head with Under 25s Rhydian Roberts and Leon Jackson and children's favourites Same Difference for a place in the December 15 final. Niki confessed: "I'm a clear 10 years older than everyone else in the old wrinkle stakes, so this is literally my last chance of the dream I've had since I was a small child." The Birmingham-based school dinner lady added: "This is it for me. I'm fighting for it because there's nothing else for me, the others have got more longevity than me. "It's a really scary situation to be in, wanting to do something for so long, you thought it was over and then all of a sudden this happens. If people don't keep me in this is literally it - once they say 'Niki you're off' that's the dream bang gone." Niki added that she would faint if she won the £1 million recording contract. "I don't know what I'd do. I might run into the crowd and throw myself on my kids, it would just be a complete shock. I possibly would pass out," she said.
