Sixteen-year-old X Factor finalist Amelia Lily has refused to wear a revealing outfit for Saturday night's first live show after a stylist tried to 'sex up' her performance. Amelia said: "They've been dressing me in outfits and they have had to take me out of some because they were too revealing because of my age." Asked why she had rejected them, she said: "It's better to be careful, d'you know what I mean?" In the 2010 final, popstars Rihanna and Christina Aguilera performed in outfits deemed inappropriate for family viewing. An X Factor source admitted to The Mirror that Amelia was "not comfortable" in the outfit but claimed it was a joint decision to stop her wearing it. An X Factor spokesman declined to comment. But a show source said: "It's part of the styling process each week and contestants will often put their opinions forward. "Amelia may only be 16 but she knows her mind. She's really fashion-forward and if she doesn't want to wear something she'll work with the stylist to find something else." Meanwhile, Amelia is currently second favourite at 5/1 to win The X Factor 2011, according to betting comparison website oddschecker.com. The betting indicates the girls are the strongest category, occupying three of the top four positions. Janet Devlin, current favourite to win at 4/1 with Unibet, has been a firm favourite from the outset. The timid 16-year-old was priced up at 20/1 two days before this year’s show even began, amid rumours of an impressive opening audition, before shortening to 6/1 after the full set of first auditions. Equally, Amelia and Misha Bryan (11/1), now second and fourth favourites respectively, have maintained their positions at the top, with starting odds of 14/1 to win after their first auditions. The boys are also a strong category, and tipped to go far is third-placed 18-year-old Frankie Cocozza.
