Cult 1990s drama The X-Files looks set for a dramatic come-back after David Duchovny admitted he is viewing scripts for a new movie. The 46-year-old actor says he and co-star Gillian Anderson are both "on board" for the film revival, which will see them reprising their roles as alien-hunting special agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. The script has been created by original writer Chris Carter and fellow scribe Frank Spotnitz, according to the Hollywood Reporter, and will be sent to the stars next week. The X-Files, which ran from 1993 until 2002, with a movie spin-off in 1998, is just the latest TV series heading for the silver screen. In early July, movie bosses announced plans to bring Sex And The City back for a feature-length film version. All four of the show's lead stars - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon - have signed up for the movie.
