Xtra Factor host Konnie Huq to be axed?
According to reports, Konnie Huq presented The Xtra Factor for the final time on Sunday as she's almost certain to be axed from the show. The news comes in the wake of several embarassing on-air gaffes throughout this year's series. A production source told The Mirror: "Simon Cowell hasn't been impressed and it seems certain she will be axed. "Every week there seems to be a new mistake." Konnie's mistake on Saturday night's show was a topic of conversation on Twitter for all the wrong reasons after she said to Cher who had just been voted off: "What a night it has been for you, a night of dreams." Thousands of fans are calling for the return of Holly Willoughby as well as Caroline Flack, who presented ITV2's spin-off coverage of I'm a Celebrity. An official spokesman for the show said it was too early to discuss the next series of The X Factor.
