Zoe Ball reveals pregnancy on radio show
TV and radio presenter Zoe Ball has announced that she is expecting her second child with DJ husband Norman Cook. The 39-year-old - who has an eight-year-old son, Woody, told listeners on her Radio 2 show on Saturday morning, "I've got some lovely news for you all actually. I'm having a baby." She went on to say that she had been looking "green of gills" and was "eating everything in sight". Radio 2 controller Bob Sherman was among the first to congratulate the presenter. "Congratulations to Zoe and Norman in light of the fantastic news that Woody is soon to have a little brother or sister," he said. Zoe - the daughter of children's TV veteran Johnny Ball - sprang to fame as co-presenter of Saturday morning children's show Live And Kicking in the mid-90s. More recently she presented ITV's reality shows Soapstar Superstar and Grease Is The Word, and was a contestant on the 2005 series of Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in 3rd place. She began her new weekend breakfast slot on Radio 2 in early June.
