In this episode, devoted entirely to Paul Foreman’s devastating story, he wakes to discover his speech has drastically deteriorated. After the new occupational therapist called on Paul and told him the stairlift is too dangerous and he can no longer leave the flat, Billy promised him that they will leave one last time and do whatever he fancies. Paul is determined to enjoy his last day of freedom.
The emotional episode follows Paul and Billy as they spend the day doing the things that Paul loves and wants to do whilst he still can. It is an emotional roller coaster for both men.
