It’s with great excitement that we announce the return of the famous singing family the Braxtons in a new series aptly titled, The Braxtons.
December 2020 was the last time fans got to see seven-time Grammy-winning artist Toni Braxton and her sisters front and center on TV in the since-wrapped Braxton Family Values. For seven seasons, the series followed the ups and downs of the Braxton women as they dealt with marital blows, relationship woes, career shifts and of course, the natural conflicts that can arise among sisters. Sadly, in the new reality series, Traci Braxton won’t be featured as she passed away in 2022, but looking at the trailer, her presence will very much still be felt.

The Braxtons release date
The Braxtons premieres on Friday, August 9, at 9:30 pm ET/PT on WE TV. The series becomes available to stream on ALLBLK. Here is a sneak peek of the season premiere episode.
The Braxtons is a WE TV original series. Here is the synopsis for The Braxtons:
"Two years after Traci's passing, the Braxtons reunite to fulfill her wish for the sisters to stay close. Toni, Tamar, Towanda, Trina, & Miss E navigate careers, health challenges, & personal lives, supporting each other & honoring Traci's legacy."
The Braxtons cast
Again, sisters Toni, Towanda, Trina and Tamar are all front and center for the kickoff season of the new series. They are joined by their mother Miss E, and looking at the sneak peek below, patriarch Michael Braxton Sr, Trina’s husband Von Scales and Towanda’s partner Sean K also make appearances. Additionally, you can expect to see the sisters' children.
