The Chase, fronted by Bradley Walsh, is ITV's biggest quiz show. It's been on our screens since 2009 and the format where the professional quiz players known as The Chasers try to chase down the contestants to stop them from winning is simply brilliant.

Here's when The Chase is on next, how to watch the show including catching up with old episodes, who the chasers are and whether you can currently apply to be on the show. It's been announced there will be a 15th anniversary special in September 2024.

We will regularly update this article with episode information including the contestants and whether it's a new episode or a repeat (see our TV Guide for full listings)...

Is The Chase on today? And what time is The Chase on?

The Chase is currently on weekdays on ITV1 at 5.00pm.

The Chase 15th anniversary special

The Chase 15th anniversary special aired on Monday, September 2 at 5 pm on ITV1.

Describing the episode ITV said: "The Chase is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a very special episode where a team of four take on not one but two Chasers in the hope of winning thousands of pounds - it’s double trouble for the contestants, but will this end in tears or with twice the fun?"

The episode, part of season 17, is available to watch on ITVX still.

Who are The Chasers in 2024?

The Chase star Anne Hegerty

The Chase star Anne Hegerty

The current chasers in 2024 are Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha, Darragh Ennis and Anne Hegerty. Anne, who's known as The Governess, once revealed to us that she was originally going to be called The Headmistress. "But in rehearsals, Bradley started calling me The Governess and I said 'Could I be that instead?' It’s a bit more kinky, a Governess is definitely more of a free agent than a headmistress."

How to watch The Chase from anywhere with a VPN

You can watch The Chase on the streaming service above by using a VPN – no matter where you are in the world!

Normally a streaming service will know where you are trying to tune in from and block you if you're not in the right country but a Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an app that hides your location. That means you can access your usual sports and entertainment services even while you're traveling abroad.

Our favorite VPN is NordVPN, which is the No. 1-rated VPN in the world right now according to our sister site, TechRadar.

  • Download the app at NordVPN
