Unsolved Mysteries volume 4: release date, trailer and everything we know about the docuseries
Volume 4's been called the "most unique volume yet."
Unsolved Mysteries navigates a unique space in the true crime arena. As the title suggests, it zeroes in on the inexplicable and well... the unsolved. The popular show continues on in this tradition with Unsolved Mysteries volume 4, and one of the new episodes even dives deeper into the story of one of the most infamous serial killers in the world.
It bears noting that while many of the cases discussed dabble in the true crime genre, there are a few episodes of the docuseries that touch on worldly oddities and paranormal subjects (although to be clear, the show hasn't proven the existence of extraterrestrial life).
So when can you start watching Unsolved Mysteries volume 4 and what else can you expect to see? Here's everything we know about it.
Unsolved Mysteries volume 4 release date
Unsolved Mysteries volume 4 premieres on Wednesday, July 31, on Netflix. Those hoping to watch the new episodes need a subscription to the streaming service. Currently, Netflix offers several options for would-be subscribers.
By the way, be sure to check out what else is new on Netflix.
Unsolved Mysteries volume 4 premise
As always, Unsolved Mysteries showcases some of the most baffling, and sometimes inexplicable, real-life occurrences. From puzzling deaths and kidnappings to paranormal activity, viewers get to hear from individuals directly involved or impacted by the respective mystery.
When asked about volume 4 of the series, co-creator Terry Dunn Meurer had this to say:
"We have a wide variety of cases in the next batch: a severed head that has not been identified, a woman who died mysteriously in a basement, a mysterious flying creature that has been spotted around the Chicago area, a young woman who suffered a brutal death and her killer has escaped justice. And the famous case of Jack the Ripper, which has never been solved. This is our most unique volume yet."
